The ball pit

One of Lewis' presents was a ball pit from Aunty Lyndall and Uncle Rodger. The boys have been having a lot of fun sharing the present.

The track

Lyndall, Rodger, Taylor and Mackenzie gave Daniel a car racing track for Christmas so on Boxing Day we set it up in the car port. There was a lot of putting cars back on the track!
Even Lewis had a turn.

Christmas 2008

Christmas 2008 started the same as all other years, on Christmas Eve we needed to leave food out for Santa and the reindeer.Christmas morning was an early start, 5.30am, and the older boys started with their stockings from Santa (no photo!). They were made to wait until Lewis woke up, 7.30am, before they were allowed to have their big items in their Santa sacks. They were very well looked after with Daniel receiving an iPod docking station and a WWII American army soldier called "Bryan Gilkinson". Oliver's main present was a Nintendo DS. Lewis received a Tonka truck which he loves.

Christmas continued

Look at the angle of Lewis' feet, he is very flexible.
We had a fantastic Christmas. Thank you Stephen, Jennelle and Henry for once again having us on Christmas Day and thank you to everyone for their great presents and wonderful Christmas wishes. Roll on 2009.

More cricket

Here are some more photos of Oliver playing cricket. In this one Oliver and Lars talk tactics before their batting stint. Trying hard with the bat.
Between the wickets.
Wayne and Daniel came to watch after Little As and Daniel had the birds eye view.
Oliver had a great day in the field with 2 run-outs. He tries very hard when it his his turn to be the wicket keeper.

Ben and Lewis watching cricket

Ben came along yesterday to watch Oliver play cricket and spent some quality time with Lewis (who is sick again, my poor bubby!)

On yer bike

We borrowed a bike seat from our neighbours and we put it on Wayne's bike last weekend. Lewis loves it although we don't think it is quite the right one for Wayne's bike, as you can see it is a little bit squeezy!
