The birthday continues ....

Lewis received a present this morning from Michele's parents, Sophie and Peter. He was very keen to play with it as soon as it was opened.
Oliver was also keen to play with it!
Thank you for the wonderful present Sophie and Peter.

New York Yankees

Our friend Paul returned from New York yesterday and brought back New York Yankees caps for the boys. When I woke up this morning I was met with Daniel still wearing the cap ..... did he sleep in it I wonder and will it have to be surgically removed? Thanks for the really great caps Paul.

Small things

Oliver, Lewis and I went to the party shop yesterday and the boys got a helium balloon each. Lewis thought it was fantastic!

Lewis' Birthday

It was Lewis' 1st Birthday (or 1th as Ollie wrote on his card!) yesterday. His first event for the day was present opening. His first present was a trike from Wayne and me.

We took it on its first "spin around the block" when we picked up Daniel and Oliver from school.

Present from Daniel

Next was a present from Daniel, what can it be?
It's a Wiggles DVD!

Present from Ollie

Thank you Ollie, what can this be?

It's Henry the Octopus!

Presents from Pete and Sandy

Lewis received a few presents from Peter and Sandy, a couple of great books and an Elmo guitar. Thank you for the lovely gifts. He has this present opening thing "down pat" by this stage.

Presents from the McKinnons

Lewis also received a shape sorter and some all-in-ones from Ange, Darren and Griffin. Thank you for the great presents.

The Cake

We finished the day with a chocolate sponge bought from the local bakery. We sang Happy Birthday and then Lewis' blew out the candle (with a little help of course).

He was a bit disappointed when it was all over.

Sew and Sew

Margot and I are having a stall in the "Spotlight on Murrumbateman" tent at the Murrumbateman Field Days on 18th and 19th October. We have set up a blog page where we will publish our creations as they are completed.

Jolly Jumping

Lewis has borrowed Griffin's Jolly Jumper and he thinks it is wonderful. His brothers also think it is pretty good, it has been mentioned every afternoon after school "Mum can Lewis go in his bungee this afternoon"? They enjoy looking after their little brudder.

Thanks for letting us borrow it Griffin.
