See Ange, this is the toy I was talking about

This is one of Lewis' favourite toys. There is just so much to look at and touch. Thanks Griffin for letting Lewis borrow it. Look at my teeth!

Grand Final Day

Yesterday was Daniel's Under 9s Football Grand Final. We played the only team that beat us during the season. It was a great match, Daniel played the first half as striker (not his preferred position) and jointly scored the goal for his team. Daniel said "the corner kick came my way and I kicked it over the line, their goalie was behind the line and even though he stopped it, the goal was mine. For good measure Thomas also kicked the ball into the goal so there was no doubt it was an All Saints goal." He then played the second half as defender, the position he feels most comfortable in. Unfortunately they played a lot of the game over the other side of the field so there wasn't that many photo opportunities.
The tense parents on the sideline. Daniel in defence.
As every team player did, Daniel spent some time on the sideline, still happy to pose for the camera.Sue brought the streamers.

Grand Final Day Part 2

During the second half we had 5 or 6 shots at goal, none however connected with the back of the net.
Then the ref blew the whistle, 1-0 our way, yay!

Daniel received his Champions medal from one of the Spirit players.

Grand Final Day Part 3

The Under 9 Div 6 Champions.
Daniel thoroughly enjoyed his football this year. Thank you everyone who came to support him, Uncle Ben, the Kennys (even though they were sick!), the Williams, the Slaters, Amanda and Brett. PS Lewis still loves Uncle Ben.

Moocooboola Festival

Last Sunday, the boys participated in the Hunters Hill Council Moocooboola Festival with their scout group. They marched in the parade holding the banner they made.
The scout group float won the best float (and $500).
During the afternoon, the boys had a go at bungee jumping.

There is a tooth in there
