Trip to Cremorne

Lewis and I visited the Burkes this afternoon. Lewis was very taken with Connor's doggy.
Lewis also enjoyed playing with Connor's other toys, thank you Connor.Connor then performed as requested by his parents, poking out his tongue and then his "classic" cranky face.
Thanks for having us Tamara, Graeme and Connor. x

TGIF

Last Friday Epi and Carol popped in for a quick visit before we all went to Helen's for dinner. While we waited for Carol's ebay auction to close, Lewis got a tummy tickle from Epi. Lewis waited patiently while Mummy and Daddy got ready for the evening.

Soccer training

It was very chilly at soccer training this afternoon.

Student free day

Yesterday we looked after Lachlan and Imogen for the day. The boys did boy things all day ... ... and Imogen and I did girl things. I don't have the opportunity to have a girl here very often and I enjoyed the day as much as I hope she did.
We made her teddy bear a pillow and quilt. She chose all the fabric herself and then designed and sewed (with only a little help from me) it altogether. Isn't she creative?
Lewis also has a soft spot for Imogen.

Lewis has a new cap

This is the new face of Lewis ... unimpressed!

Lewis is 10 months old today

Henry's House

We went to visit Jennelle and Henry this afternoon. Aunty Jennelle let Lewis have some of her Jatz crackers.
Lewis spent some "good times, good times" with Uncle Ben.
He then did some crawling practice.
And had more cuddles with Henry.

We went to the farm

Last week we escaped Sydney and visited Sylvia and David for a few days. For those unfamiliar, they live on 1000 acres in the Blue Mountains, right on the crest of the Great Dividing Range. This is the view from their backyard. It was about 1-4 degrees outside and a very, very pleasant 19-22 degrees inside.

Ben came up for the day on Thursday. He hasn't visited there for close on 20 years.

Still at the farm

It was very chilly sitting on the back of the ute. A lot warmer in the cab.
David got the stock whip out and the boys acted out their Indiana Jones dreams.
Under close supervision of course.

and on Friday morning it snowed!

Carlos and Sir Alex

Sean (aka Carlos) and Wayne (aka Sir Alex) coach and manage Oliver's Under 8s Soccer Team. Sean was at one of Daniel's recent soccer matches and I was able to convince them to pose for a photo. The Kennys are also our camping partners!!

Daniel's photos

I downloaded the photos from Daniel's camera this morning and I've found, what I think are, some very interesting photos. Daniel was also very particular about which photos I was allowed to upload to the blog!
