Tam and Leesh came for a visit
Tamara and Elisha came over for morning tea this morning. Leesh's baby is due in about 3 weeks and Tam's is due in about 6 weeks. This photo was taken today,
and this photo was taken in September '06, 2 days before Jorja (Elisha's first baby) was born and about 4 months before Connor (Tamara's first baby) was born.

New necklace
Lewis and I went to the Quilters Guild of NSW quilt show at Darling Harbour this morning. There are heaps of quilts on show and many stores with stalls. As well as buying a few pieces of "much needed" fabric, I paid a visit to the beading stalls and bought a small kit for a necklace which I made as soon as I came home. It isn't very elaborate, but it was fun to do and so quick!

Our long weekend camping expedition
Our long weekend camping expedition Part 2
This is Shelley Beach, a little rough but only a few minutes walk from our camp site. The steep walk back up carrying Lewis wasn't easy and I was glad when I got to the top!
The caravan park had go-karts to hire, so we did.
On Monday morning it was sunny and we had our yummy hot cooked breakfast in the sunshine .... very pleasant!
This is Toowoon Bay, again only a short walk from our camp site.
Even though it did rain at times, a fun time was had by all.

Lewis is on the MO blog again
Lewis has made another guest appearance on the Material Obsession blog. I'm doing Kathy's colour management class and the stars on the design wall are the beginnings of the quilt for my niece Taylor.

The show is over
Well the Hunter's Hill Quilters show is over for another two years. It was very successful and a lot of money was raised for Redkite. Unfortunately none of us won the raffle quilt :(. This is my entry called "Fits and Starts" and it will now take pride of place on our bed.
Wayne and Lewis enjoyed opening night. Margaret Pomeranz was able to put Lewis to sleep though!
